GDFL Game Recap: Blue Devils over Bulldawgs

Buffalo,New York — Being short handed fighting to get a necessary win.Back-up Quarterback #7 Sha’Ron McCutcheon threw for two touchdowns and ran for another to lead the East Coast Blue Devils team to a 36-0 week four victory over (0-3-1) Washington Bulldawgs on Saturday at Schiller Park in Buffalo,New York. 

Bulldawgz first possession of the game ended with a quick 3 and out in Blue Devils territory. The Blue Devils drove 30 yards for their first touchdown of the game a 6-yard scoring run from FB Marcus Davis who rumbled into end-zone, from their the Blue Devils never took their foot off the gas.

The Blue Devils was clicking all game long with a total of 400+ yards of offense. The Offense lead by QB Sha’Ron McCutcheon accounted for 230 of those yards on the day. 

The Blue Devils defense not only pitched a shutout, but also held the Bulldawgs to just one first down and that was the result of a defensive penalty. Defense lead by Angel Carson #15 had a game high 8 total tackles.

The Blue Devils defensive effort also included a pass interception late in the fourth quarter with DE Wayne Stacks #26 getting a game sealing 60 yard Pick 6. Final 36-0

The East Coast Blue Devils will be back in action on Saturday June 22 as they prepare take on the Buffalo Stampede. Kickoff will be at 7p.m.
