Ohio Gladiators end preseason undefeated
The Ohio Gladiators have finished their 2021 preseason with a 3-0 record after defeating fellow GDFL teams.. the Steel City Bobcats, Pittsburgh Buccaneers, and the Lake Erie Explosion. The Gladiators are looking to be a serious force and the Gridiron Developmental Football League.
"Our goal was to win all our pre-season games during the month of May and set the tone entering the regular season, said General manager, Doug Horning." It appears to be working for the Gladiators. They’re 3-0 in games since their preseason winning streak started in April.
The Gladiators outscored their opponents 88-6 over the three games. The Gladiators also completed two successful scrimmages against the BCFL's Tuscarawas County Warriors and the GDFL's Shenango Valley Truth.
The Gladiators will spend the next three weeks preparing for their home opener against the very talented Columbus Fire and their championship pedigree. The Fire look to be our toughest opponent yet and the game is sure to be a banger!
